Relationship Advice Gets You Headed in the Right Direction

I am grateful for the quality relationship advice I've received over the years and I'd like to share it with you...

Perhaps you feel worried about your relationship, upset with your spouse for misunderstanding you and your good intentions. Maybe you're hurt because you were trying and your effort goes unacknowledged. Or you've been betrayed and you feel confused... you want to make this relationship work but you wonder if you just chose the wrong person in the first place. You feel depressed about the same conflicts over and over. You feel miserable and desperate, stuck and pulled.

I understand. I've been there, too. I have a passion for the study of relationships and this has led me to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice.

If you've come to this site because your relationship is struggling and you need some support and guidance, you've come to the right place. If your relationship is good and you just want to make it better, that's great, too. You've also come to the right place.

The Allman Brothers Band sing, "Everybody's got a mountain to climb..." For some people the mountain, the major life challenge, is their work and career. For some it's money or health or family or children. And for many of us, it's our intimate relationship.

The great Buddhist sage Atisha says, "Work with the greatest defilements first." This points to the importance of tackling our biggest life difficulties, head-on. This relationship advice site will help you find some shortcuts up the mountain. I'll throw you a rope when you're on the rock face.

Recent research findings confirm what we have suspected and experienced- that a good relationship supports individual satisfaction and success in many areas (work, health, etc.) In turn, when a relationship is distressed, it greatly affects our ability to thrive in the outer world.

Put simply, our marriages are very important. Since they are so critical to our well-being, I appreciate that you are here, giving your relationship the maintenance, time and effort that it requires.

So sit back, relax, get cozy and take a deep breath. Help is on the way. Feel the benefit from some free marital counseling and know that you're not alone. We all need good relationship advice at some point along this challenging and rewarding journey.
